One of our employees was recently arrested for DUI just minutes after closing our cannabis store. She had only legal hemp in her system, from earlier that day and was not high. Yet, she’s now facing charges that could not only hurt her future but also set the wrong kind of precedent for the cannabis (Hemp) industry in our state (Georgia).
We’ve been down this road before — when our business owner was falsely arrested for selling marijuana when it was actually federally legal hemp.
